Our Story
Jake Smith Engineering is a structural design consultancy formed by managing director Jake Smith MEng in 2018.
Jake is a fully qualified structural engineer and has worked in the construction industry for 10 years, being lead project engineer on a number of landmark projects including - International House Barangaroo.
After achieving a 1st class honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath Jake focused his career in the design and development of CLT & Glulam structures. Jake has delivered numerous projects ranging from single family houses to multistory timber office buildings.
