Yes! we can provide beam, knock-through and any other calculations you may need. We aim to turn around simple calcs within the week. Please contact us with your requirements.
What is CLT and Glulam?
CLT is short for Cross Laminated Timber, it comprises of timber boards glued together to form large panels - think of very big plywood. Whole houses can be cut out off CLT panels and delivered to site prefabricated.
Glulam is short for Glue Laminated Timber, it comprises of timber boards glued together to form beams. Lamination allows glulam beams to span much further than traditional timber. The longest I have designed to date is 34m!
Can you design in materials other than timber?
Absolutely! we are fully qualified structural engineers and can deliver solutions in any building material.. we just really like timber
How quickly can you deliver my design?
Once you provide your scope of works, we can review and provide you with a delivery date. For more complex projects we will also provide a preliminary program to help communicate our design process.
